What item could you not live without after your little one was born?
I started a baby registry and I feel absolutely lost. I know that there are some baby essentials like car seats, bouncers, burp cloths, and diapers that I will absolutely need but this is my first baby and I’m worried that there are some things that I’m not realizing I’ll need.
If you could name 1-5 things that you couldn’t have done without after baby was born what would they be.
I don’t know if this is relevant but just in case, I’m having a BOY! 
The Fisher Price Rainforest swing! He started using it at about 3.5 weeks old (he was a very tiny baby) and still naps in it every day at 6 months old! He likes the side to side motion of it, the music choices, and the mobile. I like that it plugs into the wall and doesnt drain batteries.
Our soothing vibrations crib mattress – my MIL went shopping with us and was buying our crib and mattress and she spotted the soothing vibrations mattress – we didnt think it was a necessity but she insisted so I gave in figuring we just wouldnt put batteries in it if I didnt like it. What a lifesaver! Since my son left the bassinet (which he never slept well in) at 2.5 months he does great in the crib! It vibrates gently for 15 minutes and shuts off automatically. He is 6 months now and sleeps through the night but whenever I hear him starting to fuss in his sleep I reach over and push the button for the vibrations and it calms him without ever waking up.

We started placing him on it at 1.5 weeks old and he has always loved it! He still plays with it daily at 6 months old. Now he likes to lay on his belly and laugh at himself in the mirror.

He started using at about 4.5 months, with a blanket under his feet as he was still a bit short, but he loves it and plays in it all the time now. Loads of activities to keep him occupied, sometimes he will play for 20 minutes on one side, and then he will rotate to the other side with all new toys. Love it!
Diapers: A huge fan of the Pampers Swaddlers! We have used them for 6 months with NO LEAKS.
- Our bouncer seat that vibrates and plays music. Loved it and kept him occupied and comfy. He outgrew it a few weeks ago he started leaning forward in it.
-Lots of baby washcloths – we go through so many washcloths daily, especially now he is on solid foods so we are always washing his face and hands.
-an extra car seat base – we have one in each car, therefore we dont have to keep switching the base, just plop the car seat into the base in either car.
His Winnie The Pooh mobile – he LOVES his mobile! We dont use it at night, he thinks of it as a toy and since we put it on his crib at 2.5 months old, he just lays there watches it and laughs at it. It keeps him calm and occupied, especially during transition times (if I am getting his bath ready, making dinner, running load of wash, etc). He still loves his mobile.
Our boppy pillow! I breastfeed and still use it for feedings but I used to put him on it to nap while next to me on couch (before he was mobile) and now that he sits up I use it to support him.
