Question about car seat for toddler?
I know that in the U.K. the regulations state that if you have a rear-facing car seat in the front seat, you have to have the airbag deactivated otherwise it’s illegal and unsafe.
However, on the car safety website, I don’t seem to be able to find any information on FORWARD facing car seats. My son is 17 months old, and I need to know whether or not we should have the airbag on if he’s in his forward facing car seat in the front of the car.
Any help and/or links to appropriate sites would be appreciated!
The air bag should be deactivated if your child under 4 ft tall is in the front seat. No matter which way the seat is.
